We just heard that Chef Magnus is leaving Faviken and that this winter (2019) will be his final season. It was run by chef Magnus Nilsson between 2008 and 2019. The food served at the restaurant was localised to the estates around the restaurant, with only a handful of exceptions. Fäviken was placed in The World's 50 Best Restaurants in 2012, and named as one of the top ten restaurants in the world by the Zagat guide in 2013. The set menu costs SEK 2200 per person when we visited in 2015, but since gaining two Michelin stars, the price has gone up to SEK 3000. You can choose wines by the glass, non-alcoholic options, or a wine pairing menu priced at SEK 1795.
